Easter

We had a lovely Easter this year!  We enjoyed family time complete with Easter eggs and baskets.  All the grandparents came for dinner along with Auntie and Kevin.  Darrell grilled steaks.  The kids' Easter baskets had a water bottle for each, Max got goggles and an Eve action figure from the movie Wall-E, Alexis got a bubble blower, and Riley received some balls.  They had a lot of fun searching for eggs around the house till they found their baskets.  Max's basket was hidden in the washing machine!  Darrell even brought home a lovely bouquet of lilies and sunflowers!

Max is 6! Happy Birthday Max!!

Max's 6th birthday was a lot of fun!  Darrell was able to get off of work early enough to bring home McDonald's for everyone!  After lunch, the little ones napped while Max and Darrell went bowling!  Apparently, Max had the "best time ever" bowling!  That night we let Max open his gifts from us.  He got a new Bible for early readers, super hero jammies, a Green Lantern shirt, headphones and a green fan.  Obviously the fan and headphones were favorites!  We also got to go out for a fantastic dinner at our favorite birthday place, Red Robin...YUM!

Assemble the Minions!!

Max and Alexis had a combined birthday party this year.  Both of the kids love the minions from the Despicable Me movies.  If I am being honest, so do I!  I had a lot of fun with the food and decorations.  I outfitted twinkies with overalls and goggles, dipped pretzels sticks in yellow and blue candy, and made yellow cupcakes with eyes and goggles on them.  We also decorated with wall decals that the kids can put in their rooms!  I think the party was a huge hit!  Thank you to all who came to show my kids how special they are!  Happy 6th birthday to Max, and Happy 3rd birthday to Alexis!!
