Swimming Lessons!

We hired a sweet lady to teach the kids swimming lessons this summer.  The kids immediately fell in love with Miss Bethany.  They learned so much from her in a very short period of time.  Max really became a swimming star!

Happy 4th of Joolie!

Granddaddy and Grandmother joined us for an awesome Independence day.  They brought their ice cream maker and all the fixin's for homemade ice cream.  We also enjoyed corn on the cob, firecracker pretzels and a fire cracker craft. 

Darrell had picked up some sparkers, but they were a little less than thrilling...

Mmmmmm Watermelon!

The kiddos had a great time slurping up some watermelon together on the deck.  I have to admit, it was pretty yummy!

Honeycutt Park

Life is getting pretty fun now that Riley is walking and climbing.  We had a blast exploring Honeycutt Park together!

Summer is for Sleep Overs

Max and Alexis have grown to be quite good friends as well as siblings!  Most of the summer, they wanted to sleep together.
