Have a Holly Jolly Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year! Max is having a blast playing with his new Thomas train set, color wonder markers, iXL game machine, and glow in the dark doodle board! He can't seem to decide what to do next, but whatever it is, his new friend Thomas goes along! He slept well in the big boy bed for the 1st time Christmas eve! I think the new Thomas pajamas and pillow that Grammy and I made helped him sleep tight all night long!

Max's New Digs

At 2 1/2, Max is finally in a big bed. Mommy was a little tearful as I watched the crib leave his room, but he loves the queen size bed big enough for him and all his Bebes!

Music Box and Owl Bebe's New Clothes

On a much needed outing with Nancy and Co., Max got a new radio the shape of Lightning McQueen (thanks to Great Gran's spending money) and an outfit for Owl Bebe! He has spent hours changing CD's in his new "music box"!

We had a great time with the neighborhood Breakfast with Santa again this year! Thanks for the fun and food neighbors!

Scissors, November2010

Watch out...Max is learning to use scissors!

Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo!

Well, Max has finally joined all the boys in the world in their love of trains! His Grandmother and Grandaddy went with us to the fairgrounds on Nov 8th to see the model train expo. Max had a ball! He loved the Thomas exhibits the most. He fell in love with the conductor's hat we bought him. He has worn it to bed, to play, to lunch, everywhere ever since!

Owl BeBe!

We took Max to build a bear on November 2. Not surprisingly, Max chose to create the Owl. He cried huge tears when the lady started to stuff him. He asked her to please stop fixing him! He recovered in time to put a stuffed heart inside. As he has done with all his stuffed owls, he named his new pal Owl BeBe. He is very proud of his new friend!

Trick Or Treat 2010

Max had a blast going to the neighbor's houses for "treats" We dressed him as a golfer and he rode around in his push car golf cart!
As is tradition in our family - I was unable to get a good picture!

Big Boy Bed! Oct 16, 2010

Since Max is getting so big, and we have a new baby on the way, we decided it was time to convert Max's crib into the toddler bed. Max is very excited to be in a big boy bed!

Quack Quack said the Duck, Quack Quack!

Max and I met some of our friends at Shelley Lake in October to feed the ducks! The adventure was a huge hit! Max even pretended to feed his rubber duckies "bread" (plastic blocks) while in the bathtub!

We finished the excursion with a little playtime on the playground and a picnic lunch!

You gotta FIGHT for your RIGHT to POTTY!

While still a ways away from potty training, Max started to express an interest the potty. Here he is experimenting and learning all there is to know about a potty. We hope he will begin training soon!

Let Freedom Ring!

I LOVE 4th of July! I am hoping to instill this love in Max. Today we talked all about RED WHITE & BLUE, Bald Eagles, the Statue of Liberty, the flag, and the Star Spangled Banner! We ate hot dogs and apple pie, and of course set off a few fire works! Max did get a little spooked by the fireworks, but really enjoyed the rest of it! God Bless the USA!

The BIG Apple

I bought some Granny Smith's for my July 4th apple pie, and Max decided he is a big boy and wanted a whole apple. He was too cute trying to take a bite of a fruit almost the size of his head!
