A little to young to start dating...

My friend Sarah came to help me out after Riley was born one morning.  We found that Riley really likes her daughter.  We are going to have to keep an eye on those 2.  Max has all ready asked for her middle daughter's hand in marriage.

Max's Best Present.... E-V-E-R

To keep my bigger kids feeling included when a new baby comes, we have the baby give them a present.  Who knew that Riley would give Max his favorite present ever!  Darrell helped Riley pick out a REAL vacuum cleaner to give to his big brother.  When Max opened it, I think the stars in the sky brightened up a bit from his smile!  He has played with it non stop ever since!  (which I LOVE because it helps me get my floors clean!)  I think it is safe to say Max loves his baby brother.

The Dillmans come to call

Riley's Aunt Judy and Uncle Eric  came to visit along with cousins Tommy and Amy.

TARGET 2/23/13

What better place for a first outing?!!  The first place Riley went (other than the pediatrician) was of course Mommy's favorite store - Target.  Going to Target is a lot like Disney World to me.  :)  He was an angel and slept the whole time.  I realized I wasn't as well as I thought.  It seemed as if I was in slow motion and everyone else was going fast forward!

Max and Alexis hold Riley

Riley's "bubba" and "sissy" absolutely adore him.  They could not wait to hold him.

Riley Meets "The Abbys"

Since he was little, Max has called my brother's family "The Abbys".  After he arrived home, Aunt Cheryl and the girls came to meet Riley.  I think he loves his cousins just as much as the rest of us do.

Hospital Stay

This was my shortest hospital stay of the three babies.  Because of that and snow, we didn't have a lot of visitors.  Just the grandparents, and 2 of my friends.  Thanks to Riley's Aunt Cheryl,  he had the perfect coming home outfit:  a cable knit romper and hat in baby blue.  He looked so cute in it!

My Valentine, Riley Alexander Ferguson

This was probably my favorite Valentine's Day ever.  Riley arrived at 11:05 am on 2/14/13.  He weighed in at 8 lbs 15 ozs, 21 1/2 inches long.  He was delivered by Dr. Anderson.  At my last OB appointment, Dr. Anderson said he could get the baby out within 5 minutes.  He had him out in 4.  He did a great job with the surgery, and we both recovered well.  After a couple days of consideration, and almost naming the baby Jaxson Riley, we finally settled on Riley Alexander.  Max and Alexis fell in love at first site. I am so blessed with my THREE babies.  Darrell is an amazing daddy.  He takes super care of all of us.

Color Time January 2013

Max and Alexis are both getting better at coloring.  Max is actually drawing people now . Before the baby arrived, he drew a picture of him, and named  him Riley.  Guess he knew something we didn't.  Alexis just loves getting her hands on crayons and is getting the hang of making marks on the paper.  She loves paper - which she pronounces pay-pear
