I Scream, You Scream

We all scream for ice cream! Thank you to Leslie for coming over Saturday and going to Brusters with Max and me. Brusters gives little guys a free Jr Icecream cone when a parent makes a purchase. Max had never had his own icecream cone. He didn't want to have anything to do with it at first, but once I got a little taste on his lips, he was all about it! Max loves to help Mommy and Daddy read the newspaper on Sundays. Here he is in all his glory, or shall I say in his big pile of paper!

One Small Step for Mankind, 4 GIANT steps for Max!

Mommy finally got a first! While I am glad Darrell has bonded with Max over many of his firsts (smile, laugh, etc) I am so thrilled that Max gave his 1st steps to me! Max is playing at his grandmother's house this summer while I am at work. I went to pick him up on Wednesday and she had been walking him around the living room while he held her fingers. When I came through the door, they walked toward me. Max let go of Grandmother's fingers and stepped toward me all by himself! He took 4 whole steps before he reached me. I scooped him up and Grandmother and I jumped up and down laughing and congratulating a confused Max, who I am sure didn't realize he had done it! Poor little Max is a stubborn little fella, and refuses to walk. If he had realized he was doing it on his own, he would have sat himself down and crawled in true Max style! He hasn't ventured to take any more steps yet, but a least we know he can do it! I of course didn't have my camera ready when Max cruised along solo - but hope to catch him in action soon! Water Water Everywhere! June 12-13

The Ferguson Family is ALL ABOUT SUMMER! We love the beach, the lake, and flip flops! Max is taking it all in stride and becoming quite the summer boy himself. He loves his wading pool, though for some reason refuses to sit down. He also enjoys the boat, and the murky lake water! I hope he continues to love all things summer! The Lake- Max's First Boat Ride! May 31st 2009

We took Max to the lake for the 1st time yesterday! I think he thinks he is a sea captain! He all ready wanted to drive the boat! He loved watching the other boats and taking in the sights!
