The stockings were hung.

I made my littlest baby his stocking for his first Christmas just after Thanksgiving.  I wanted him to have something different, but it also needed to match his sibling's stockings.  I found the perfect blue and white chevron fabric that tied in to the theme of his nursery, and the colors of Max's and Alexis's stockings.

Thanksgiving 2013

We had another lovely Thanksgiving day with Great Gran this year.  She met Riley for the first time, and the cousins all played so nicely together!  Lucy and Alexis were the craziest!  They had a wonderful time chasing each other and throwing themselves on the floor.  True Wackadoodles!

Black Beans...Yum!

After a morning of errands, we decided on an impromptu lunch out at Red Robin.  Since I wasn't prepared to eat out, we had to guess at something on the menu for Riley to eat.  By looking at his face, I'd say we struck gold.  The little fella devoured his black beans (and a few French fries, too!)

I'll Stand By You

Much to my surprise, we caught Riley pulling himself up to a stand at our toy piano.  As you can see by his sweet face, that boy is so proud of himself!  I am not ready for my littlest one to grow up yet!  Thankfully, soon after these pictures were taken, he decided to take a nap in my arms.

Riley at 9 Months

I just love my sweet little Riley.  He is such a happy little boy!  I can't believe he is all ready 9 months old!  Here are some pics of his sweet little 9 month self!

Leaf-Falling-Fun

Because of our large wooded yard, we have the potential for some enormous leaf piles.  Darrell made a great one for the kids today.  They nearly disappeared under the leaves when they jumped in.  Even Riley had a good time.

First Sleep Over

Because we had company in town, Alexis had to give her room up for our guest.  That meant she and Max got to have a sleep over in Max's room.  Max took the top bunk, Alexis the bottom.  But when I checked on them a little later, this is what I saw:

Apparently, Alexis was less than thrilled with the idea of sleeping somewhere other than her own bed.  Her sweet brother gave up top bunk status to comfort her through the night.  Love.
