Merry Mis-mus!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year.  Sorry, Mis-mus as Alexis says.  Darrell's parents and Auntie arrived before the kids woke up.  Riley woke up on his own, but we had to get the big kids up to get the day started a little after 7.  The kids loved the gifts they received. I loved the fact that each took turns playing with each others' toys.  Darrell surprised me with a new purse (love) and I gave him a Blu-Ray player.  We spent the day after Christmas watching some much anticipated flicks like Turbo and Despicable Me 2 in the living room - and all the kiddos had their own chairs to sit in.

Christmas night was spent with another homerun in the kitchen from Darrell.  He really knows his way around a prime rib!  Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Alexis squealed with delight when she saw her new doll house!

Max loved his new R/C helicopter.

Riley had a great First Christmas!  He really like crinkling the bag of Gerber cookies he got!

Riley (and the 2 big kids) loves his F-P Crawl Around Car.  It is a HUGE hit.
We had a lovely day watching them play.  I was pleased that they all played so nicely all day

Grammy and Auntie getting some silly snuggles!

I think Maizy was worn out!

After a lovely breakfast, Darrell's parents got out Max's big gift from them - A NEW CAR...He loves the power wheel car!
The cutest part was when he took his sister for a ride, and they had their arms around each other!

Happy Birthday Jesus!!

Christmas Eve Jammies!

Every year we give the kiddos new jammies for Christmas.  I usually get them a size bigger so they will last till the next year.  Sadly, Max's are enormous this year! He was also less than pleased with a pajama present till he realized they were covered in remote controls!

A Very Schoenling Christmas

We had a wonderful time Sunday celebrating with my side of the family.  My mom prepared a lovely meal complete with beautiful ornaments as party favors.  As usual, deployed our poppers after the meal to reveal small treasures and terrible jokes.  The children really enjoyed present time.  They really liked the tea party set their cousin got!
