I decided to make Max's Christmas stocking special instead of my normal 50% off at Target, so I bought some fabric and sewed a stocking for him from scratch. Yes, that is right. I sewed. I think it turned out pretty good! I also wanted to document a special ornament Max was given by his Great Gran - I hung the tree and thought of her and how many special moments we have had throughout the years. I love you Gran!

Happy 1st Thanksgiving!
Darrell and I brought Max to Gran and Grandaddy's house for our annual Thanksgiving tradition. He slept the whole trip there and back, so he was a joy to be around all day. I am so glad he finally got to meet his Maternal great grandparents! We gave him a little taste of big people food - mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce (I know that was mean -but I wanted to see if he made a good sour face!). He hated all of it...Oh well. Maybe next year!
Uh-Oh...
Unsupported Sitting! November 2008
Where does time go?! It seems like just yesterday, my little boy couldn't really do anything but eat, poo and cry. Now he is sitting up by himself and rolling around the living room. I can't tell you the exact date he began sitting up all by himself, (I know - I am a terrible mommy) but here are the 1st good pictures of him

Pumpkin Party!
We went took Max to the Farmer's Market Oct 25th to pick out our pumpkin this year. It was pretty wet, so Max had to stay in his stroller. That night we went to Neighbors Krista, Mike and Noah's house for our annual pumpkin carving party! Mike made some chili and we "scooped the guts out" of our pumpkins together!
