Let Freedom Ring!

I LOVE 4th of July! I am hoping to instill this love in Max. Today we talked all about RED WHITE & BLUE, Bald Eagles, the Statue of Liberty, the flag, and the Star Spangled Banner! We ate hot dogs and apple pie, and of course set off a few fire works! Max did get a little spooked by the fireworks, but really enjoyed the rest of it! God Bless the USA!

The BIG Apple

I bought some Granny Smith's for my July 4th apple pie, and Max decided he is a big boy and wanted a whole apple. He was too cute trying to take a bite of a fruit almost the size of his head!

Shoe-be-do-be-doos

The other day, I looked over at Max and saw that he had put his shoes on his feet all by himself! I was so surprised and proud....despite the rest of his get-up and that they were on the wrong feet!

Fire Safety Day June 5, 2010

We took Max to another fire safety day this year. The Falls River Fire Dept. had a great event with firetrucks, police cars (like the one that gave Mama her ticket), boats, and of course pop corn and Popsicles! Max loved looking at the trucks and getting a new fireman hat!
