New Year @ 9

A last minute decision was made and we extended our invite to friends for our traditional “Ring in the New Year At 9” party. We were excited that the Marconis could come!

Christmas 2011

Having children really puts the joy back into the holidays! Alexis really loved Christmas, just like Max.. Here are the highlights! My favorite? When Alexis opened

her Wodie Doll!

Turkey Day 2011

Whew…doing a whole year of posts in a day is taxing! We are getting closer! We headed back to Newton for Alexis’s first Thanksgiving. You can see she and her cuz are crawlers now! After a yummy meal, we visited Great Granddaddy at Abernathy, his home away from home. For some reason, I can't find those pictures...but here are a few from Gran's house

Sippy Cup, Halloween and Sittin’ up

Alexis never took to a bottle, and has had a hard time taking a cup…here’s our 1st attempt at a cup! She was a sweet pea this rainy Halloween. Max wanted to be a fireman. It was icky and rainy! November 16th we caught this pic of our little Squiggles sitting up! Still pretty tiny, she is progressing well!

Our Little Cubby

Fall 2011 Max joined Awana Cubbies with Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Ted. He is usually reluctant to go, but always ends up having a great time. He recites his little verse every week, and has started developing social skills! Pardon the pictures...he is still acting a bit weird when the camera comes out!

We took Alexis to meet some more cousins in August. Max had a blast in the “pool flute” Uncle Bill got for Alexis. Alexis wasn’t so sure of the pool at first, but seemed to enjoy it after a while. I loved visiting with the cousins and showing off our little family! Alexis especially enjoyed a massive nap with Kim. Max especially enjoyed our trip to Nautica, and hanging with Will.

Movie and a Milestone

We joined the girls for a showing of the new Winnie the Pooh movie. I am not sure who loved it more, Max and the girls, or Cheryl and I! We also started Alexis on rice cereal (grow baby, grow!) She did NOT seem impressed!
