Just after Alexis was born, we celebrated Max turning 3, and met our newest relative, Lucy Evelyn. Everyone at the party remembers it very well! Probably the strangest birthday party ever, it was the day the tornadoes decided to celebrate Max’s birthday, too. We spent the day with our eyes glued to the weather channel . My brother and family (affectionately dubbed “the Abby’s by Max) were displaced from their home due to damages for a looong time. We are so thankful they were at our home rather than theirs when the tornados struck. As Max's 4th birthday approaches, we hope we don't have any more of these uninvited guests!
