Monster Valentine Party!!!

It was monsters monsters monsters for little Riley's first birthday party.  The decorations were red and lime green.  He had a monster snack cup and sippy cup along with monster bib.  The boys both wore monster shirts.  Alexis dressed in a heart shirt to represent Valentine's day.  Her hair bow was a Mommy original - lime green with hearts and google eyes.  I even painted my finger nails lime green.  Riley seemed to know exactly what to do with his presents!  He loved playing with the paper most of all.  The gifts he received were all wonderful.  He also enjoyed some hang time with his buddy, Gavin.  The kids competed for the cutest play dough monster.  Party favors were "adoptable" little plush monsters, and lime green rock monsters that I painted.  We had lots of red and green treats, and red velvet cupcakes with green icing and eyeballs on top!

Amy helped the kids get their monsters decorated.  They were all so cute.

Riley's friend Lucas also wore monster garb!

Who could pick a favorite?!  Aren't the monsters cute!?
Max is still donning his Green Lantern garb with his monster shirt!

Ahhhh - Time to kick back after opening some great gifts!

Riley's best bud

His cupcake seemed to disappear in just one bite!  I let him have one more.  Hey - they are small!

Amy helped Riley and Alexis wash off their cupcake in the tub!  When she emerged, Alexis had a new hairdo~
